File PhotoI was very surprised to find that long time board favorite, The Coffee Pot, didn't have a dedicated thread. It has been often mentioned whenever the conversation turns to
breakfast in Wisconsin or, more specifically, breakfast in the Kenosha area. It's been mentioned for many years as an
alternative to Frank's Diner, but it's more than that. In fact, I much prefer The Coffee Pot to Frank's these days.
File PhotoPretty much everything is made from scratch at The Coffee Pot, from the corned beef hash to the bread used for toast. In fact, those two items are my favorites on the menu, although there are lots of other great choices from pancakes to omelets.
The Coffee Pot is a place that deserves to be talked about a lot more than it has been, so I'm hoping this thread will spur some more LTHers to visit, now that spring is just around the corner.
