Would like to attend but I won't know until around 1pm Tuesday 2/25 that I will be back in town for sure. Is that too late?

I would like to attend. I will pay when I return to the US on Saturday.

We won't be able to know for sure until then. Please, let me know your status as soon as you know, and we'll take it from there.

Ok, this event is now closed.

As for Wednesday, some snow is expected, so please plan your commute accordingly. We do have some buffer time built-in (6 pm start, 7 pm main dinner) so that should lift some of the burden. If you live nearby, you might want to consider a ride share or taking public transportation, as parking might be challenging.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, and reminiscing together on Wednesday evening.

Was heading south until GWiv intervened.

Glad you were able to join us for a sampling of our buddy's go-to items. Friends like Stevez deserve celebration. Suggest doing it while they can enjoy it in person rather than in spirit though.

Amen. In a further echo of Steve's spirit my family of four also laughed while sharing the frisbee-sized fritter this morning; what a treat. Thanks for the generous memento, Alan.

A good division of labor enjoyed by everyone.

Almost a fading tradition, there was just enough over ordering to feed lunch to my family of three.

It was a very thoughtful event, thank you.

It was wonderful being part of the group that came together to remember our friend, who was a mensch and an exceptional person in so many ways. The evening was bittersweet but it was comforting to be with so many people who knew him, liked him and loved him. If not for Steve and his patient, giving nature, I doubt that the connections between us all would be as strong and long-lasting as they are.

The team at Sun Wah did an excellent job with the meal and the hosting. Thank you to Alan, Gary, Maribeth and Jen for their efforts, and to everyone else who helped make the evening as special as it was.

Tasked with taking the food pics at our table, I think I got everything. Unfortunately (and as usual), I took woefully few people pics. Hopefully, others who attended have a few they can share. And I'm happy to help get them posted here on the thread if any difficulties are encountered.

Here are a few pics of the meal . . .

Great shots, Jim. Thank you, for taking the time to post them. I especially like the 'then and now' shots of your boy.
