It was wonderful being part of the group that came together to remember our friend, who was a mensch and an exceptional person in so many ways. The evening was bittersweet but it was comforting to be with so many people who knew him, liked him and loved him. If not for Steve and his patient, giving nature, I doubt that the connections between us all would be as strong and long-lasting as they are.
The team at Sun Wah did an excellent job with the meal and the hosting. Thank you to Alan, Gary, Maribeth and Jen for their efforts, and to everyone else who helped make the evening as special as it was.
