More glamorous than the Academy Awards... at least the technical ones... here's a thread for photos of Great Neighborhood Restaurant award presentations.

    Image

Went to Semiramis tonight to present theirs and discovered... they read LTHForum! At least enough to have already printed out the award (and a Rich4 post) and stuck it up next to a Time Out writeup.

So already knowing about the award, Joseph was pleased to receive the actual Kinko's-laminated plaque and give it a place of honor in his window:

I wasn't present for these next two, but the photos have been passed on to me by Nr706 so I'll go ahead and post them. Poster Jack Coughran and his wife joined Nr706 for the presentation to Tre Kronor, represented by servers Tricia and Anna:

And Giovanna is seen here presenting Renga-Tei's to Hisao Yamada, owner and chef:

    LTH,

A small group met for lunch and Honey 1's GNR presentation, Robert Sr. and Robert Jr. were as pleased to be recognized by LTHForum as we are to have Robert Sr.'s terrific low and slow BBQ in our community.

Between Robert Sr.'s beaming smile and the fact that Semiramis already had the award printed -- This thread made my day :)

I'm looking forward to more pics.

    Best,
    Michael

    LTH,

I had the privilege of accompanying Steve Z to Elephant Thai to present Ann with the LTHForum.com Great Neighborhood Restaurant Award. Lunch was terrific, as always, and Ann and her husband Nick were enthused with the award.
