Here's a good looking book put together by Mike Sula and Karen Hawkins that will help support The Reader and the restaurant industry. Just ordered it and look forward to trying out some of the recipes. There's also a nice selection of cocktails.

The Chicago Reader teamed up with the city’s best chefs and bartenders to give you their stay-at-home staples. Fifteen percent of the profits will go to the Comp Tab Relief Fund, a project created to provide financial assistance to any and all hospitality workers who need it.

I've skimmed "Reader Recipes: Chicago Cooks and Drinks at Home" I contributed a recipe "Chicken Soup Granny Annie" and they kindly sent a .pdf

80 unique recipes from locals, many of whom you will recognize, cutting a wide swath across regional, ethnic and national boundaries.

I have a few recipes teed up as I type, can't wait to get started. Plus its for a great cause. I plan on buying a few hard copies as gifts, both my neighbor and sister in-law have already bought copies.
