    For what it's worth, I've made a couple of batches of Malort vinegar using the Noma fermentation book as a guide. It has a nice fruity sourness and then finishes bitter. Good with soda over ice, also useful in stews or the like to add a bit of cut. Way better than drinking the stuff.

    Old news I guess, but you can get Jeppson's Malört at the Amazon Go at 111 E Wacker.

    Just grab a bottle, put it in your pocket or bag, walk out, and a minute or two after exiting you’ll receive a receipt. At least our corporate overlords in Seattle have a sense of humor when it comes to alcoholic beverages.
