In the immediate vicinity of the Convention Center, you're not going to find a ton. One place that might be fun for a group is the sports bar/rock and roll themed Alice Cooperstown; owned by Alice himself. They cater to big groups and have some private areas.
Pizzaria Bianco is also very close by, and can be a great place,
if you order carefully, although I don't think it would be very good for a large group dinner. You're better off going there with a smaller group. It's very crowded and not set up to handle large parties.
