I will be spending next week with 4 teenage boys at Lake of the Ozarks. We will be eating out at least one meal every day.
I know The Clown has closed so no going to a drive in your boat but what else has interesting food and may keep them entertained?

Blue Heron, Potted Steer: serious food, first-rate wine lists.

Sooo, you like wine and are looking for something good to read? Maybe *this* will do the trick! :)

I like the Potted Steer a lot but it is too upscale for this group of boys.

So far I've settled on Arris Pizza in Osage Beach and the Bagnell Fish Camp in Bagnell.
These seem the appropriate level of casual and interesting food to keep everyone happy. Bagnell has fried gizzards and pickles on their appetizer list.

Still need two more places, any other suggestions?

Needed to find some water on the way back from KC - pointed the car towards Lake of the Ozarks - in a roundabout way enroute to Chicago - about 2.5 hours from KC.

Read about a place called Shady Gators/Lazy Gators - boater bar on the lake, with it own pool - Thought the concept was pretty cool. Come in your swim suit and wade up to the bar. On this Sunday afternoon it was a mix of Jersey Shore types and families -

$5 - aluminum cans of Coors Light, and a nice view of the lake.

Always needing to get a crab leg fix - I heard Bump's had a Sunday $12.99/lb snow crab special. 2 #'s Cured my crave that day:
