'Food You Can Trust' belongs on everyone's table, but some people's schedules prevent them from shopping at Chicago's Green City Market. That's why we are introducing Green- Market-To-Go, a personal shopping service.

Green-Market-To-Go begins July 7 and runs the four Wednesdays of the month. If it's a success, we will extend it through the Market season.

Each week, we will fill Green-Market-To-Go baskets with the freshest cream-of-the-crop seasonal sustainable foods at the Market that day (excluding meats and poultry), and hold them in our refrigerated truck at 1750 N. Clark Street, directly in front of the Market site. Pick-up hours will be from 1:00 and 7:00 p.m., and an attendant will be on hand to assist you.

The subscription cost is $300 for the month, payable in advance. An additional $15 deposit is required for two Market baskets, to be refunded at the end of the month.

To subscribe, send your name, address, daytime phone and a check for $300.00 (made out to Chicago's Green City Market) to CGCM, 77 Maple Hill Road, Glencoe, IL 60022. You may e-mail in your subscription with a VISA or MasterCard number and expiration date to [email protected]. Your credit card will be charged for the full month's subscription the first week.
