Brunch at Summer House is great. You won't find anything very creative on the menu, but what's on there is very tasty.
The baked items available at the coffee/bakery counter at the entrance are a mixed bag for me. They are above average.
Dinner is decent but nothing spectacular, which is how I feel about Paris Club. I find some of the food items to be overpriced e.g., $25 for fish tacos. The first time I went there, the service was a complete disaster, but everyone meant well, was overly apologetic, comped our meal and drinks and gave us ~$50 in gift cards to come back, which we've mostly used at brunch =D
What they got right is the design and decor of the place. You step in the main dining area and are immediately transported out of Chicago. It's a large and therefore noisy space, but sitting in the main dining room under the big glass ceiling is fantastic, in my opinion.
What really strikes me as strange is that in Chicago, a town where people tend to under-dress for the occasion, people get too put-together for Summer House.
