150 Year Old Tomato Seeds

This story was in our local paper. I found the same article on line, that I could link to.

I wonder how they knew they'd been through somebody and not just from a discarded tomato..... or maybe I don't want to know.

Anyhow, neat story.

I wonder if the person that ultimately got them to grow saved any of the seeds. Would be interesting to know if this is a variety that isn't common, or even available, anymore.
