I am new to this forum and so far it looks interesting! Basically I am into gardening and I love to cook with homegrown veggies and herbs. I look forward to mingling with you all.

    Hello, Misty!

There's a lot going on in the gardening forum right now that you should enjoy. I am embarassed to say I did not get anything going in the garden this year, but watching other members' vegetable gardening progress (especially the photos!) are motivating me to plan better for growing vegetables and herbs next year.

Just curious, how does the NM climate constrain, if at all, what you can grow in your garden?

Sounds good and welcome. I think you'll find this a pretty well-informed forum. Perhaps you should tell the group a little more about yourself. Like:

    1. where in NM are you from and what gardening issues/challenges/advantageous does that hold for you?
    2. what exactly do you like to grow and eat and why?
    3. how do you attempt to achieve the answer to #2?

We look forward to hearing more. Also, you may want to perform a search or two to see if any of the topics in which you're interested have been covered or addressed. It's also nice to add on to existing topics (if related) instead of starting a new one (it keeps the board a bit cleaner).

Looking forward to your next post...
