Planting Peas for the Fall?

Does anyone know when the best time to plant peas and other fall crops is?

This is a good planting calendar for the fall. Simply enter your last frost date - which In Chicago is around 10/15/2009 and it generates the dates for you:

This is a very handy tool, and it has started me thinking about what I should be planting for Garden 2009, Part II.
