Beer on Tap?! [link]

I remember having a discussion (that included plans and designs) with a friend when we were ten or so years old, about how cool it would be if cola (or even multiple sodas) could be available at home through a special tap directly linked to the plant. We get electricity and water and gas that way – why not soda*?

I suppose today I can just get myself a beer tap.

*This was at a time when soda was, at least for me, an indulgence, something I had at a restaurant or a party, something that had to compete with other longer lasting sugary treats for my pocketmoney.
