The one at Clark & Division.

    1) ChocoVine - "The taste of dutch chocolate and fine red wine" per the label. "The number one selling chocolate wine in America" per the ChocoVine website. 14% ABV. Made in Holland. I would have thought "ugh", but internet reviews seem to be essentially positive. For this sort of thing (favorable comparisons to Bailey's, etc.).

    2) White Lightning Moonshine. White corn whiskey from Firefly Distillery, Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina. 100.7 proof, comes in a mason jar. Again, looks like pretty good reactions from various whiskey review blogs & such.

I have not tried either of these but can't help wondering if a White Lightning Manhattan would work.

There's competition in the chocolate flavored wine market segment? Who'da thought there was room for even one offering.

ETA: Evidently, there's quite a bit of the stuff floating around out there, according to Wine Enthusiast

When it comes to celebrating Valentine’s Day at the dinner table, red wine and chocolate seem like a natural match. But this year, winemakers across the country are producing wines that take the pairing to another level.

Chocolate wines—made with wine and infused with chocolate and, in some cases, cream—have been popping up from producers across the country. For some, this comes just in time for the Hallmark holiday.

SueF has had the Chocovine and liked it. More recently we had a half-bottle sized product from World Market which was pretty nasty, it tasted like wine mixed with flat Canfield's Diet Chocolate Soda.

I'm not fond of this sort of thing. While I love chocolate, keep it out of my coffee, wine... I'll grant you peanut butter.

At Thornton Winery we tried a chocolate wine (one of several they make). It wasn't bad, but definitely more a change of pace drink than anything else. Still haven't opened the bottle we brought home.
