Last night we had a little St. Patrick's day party for which wife #1 put together a meal of favorites -- salmon w/dill on home-made brown bread, corned beef & cabbage, Dublin coddle.
As every couple was one part Jewish we had poppy seed hamantaschen (from Kaufman's) for dessert.
One of our guests brought along beverage -- a six-pack each of Pickwick's Ale and of He'Brew Messiah Bold ale (the one you've been waiting for). Both were good ales, the Pickwick being more to my taste as it was not quite as dark.
He'Brew (Shmaltz Brewing Company) also offers Genesis Ale (our first creation). Sam's carries the He'brew line.
Shmaaltz has a website:
http://www.shmaltz.com/ where you can read more about them and buy t-shirts etc at the chotchkie emporium.
The six-pack container offers important information "do not store fresh beer in saddle bags of white donkey."
Where there’s smoke, there may be salmon.
