I always keep a pitcher of Luzianne iced tea in the fridge for Sweet Baboo, who drinks little else but iced tea (I couldn't live like that). After testing several, I found I like it the best of the "made for iced tea" teas. However, one of the large multi-serving bags (24 to a box) in a pitcher of water doesn't make as strong a tea as I like. For myself, I'd cold brew a glass of Twining's English Breakfast or Irish Breakfast instead. As far as strength goes, one single-serving tea bag seems enough for me for two full glasses of iced tea when ice is factored in. Doesn't have to be Twining's, but a good black tea like English or Irish Breakfast is what I'd look for in this situation. Or maybe I should start using two bags of Luzuanne per pitcher of cold water.
I know what you mean, though. In cold weather, I'm happy with hot tea in the morning, but there comes a certain time of year when it's so hot in the morning that the only options I can consider are iced coffee, iced tea, and iced Coke or Diet Coke -- listed there in reverse order of preference.
