Okay, first post here on this superb website.
All the talk about loose tea makes me remember a great spot in Boston, TeaLuxe. They have a website where you can order any of their loose teas (loosies? ) If anyone is interested.

Especially good are the: Creme de la Earl Grey, Blueflower Earl Grey (*very* bergamott-y), Strawberry Sencha Green Tea (Wonderful iced, Peachy White (Ditto - iced), and the super-strong Irish Breakfast.

    Hey messycook,

I'll check out the TeaLuxe site (I am very fond of Todd & Holland, but it might be good to locate a less expensive 'fix').

Incidentally, I am also a big Earl Grey fan. T&H has an Earl Grey semi-dark called 'The Earl of Oolong,' which I like a lot, and they also do an Earl Grey with double as well as one with triple (!!!) bergamot oil (this, as I understand it, was created for one special customer, but is considered somewhat too powerful for most mortals).

Well since posting that first message, I have managed to spend 57$ on the site!
I'm not sure how much $ T&H tends to run, but TeaLuxe has a range of amounts to buy and according to how rare the tea is, is priced accordingly.

    Hope you like it.

I am worried I will get even less done at work now that LTH forum is available!

I'll whole-heartedly second the peachy white. I'm fond of the pear & green tea, as well.

I'm a tea novice, but am really impressed by Todd & Holland. I like being able to go there, talk to them, and get more information about the teas than just pick them haphazardly, which is what I used to do. Always nice to talk to someone who is so passionate about tastes and where they come from.
