Please do not throw your tomatoes at me but I've never gotten this place or cared for it. I like a couple of items -- hackepeter, spaetzle -- but find most of what I've eaten there to be bland or cloyingly sweet and often, excessively mushy. I'm actually posting this from Koln, Germany, where my recent dining experieces have affirmed my personal feelings about Laschet's. I wish I liked it 25% as much as what I've eaten here. Yes, I know. I'm clearly in the minority on this one and I'm certainly a newb when it comes to German cuisine (for all I know Laschet's food is an entirely different style from what I've been eating in Koln) but I say 'nein' on Laschet's mainly because I don't find eating there pleasurable.
