How to nominate a GNR

There are two categories of GNRs: Restaurants and Resources. Restaurants are establishments that you visit primarily for prepared food. This includes sit down restaurants, fast food restaurants, bakeries, cocktail bars, and other similar places. Resources are other food-related establishments such as butcher shops and specialty ingredient shops.

Each member may only nominate one new place, whether it is as a Restaurant or a Resource, not one of each. Please clarify whether your nomination is a Restaurant or a Resource since the distinction can impact how people view the nomination.

Keep in mind that the primary requirement for selection as a GNR is a consensus of positive posts.

A GNR Nomination post is a critical part of the entire GNR program. Nomination posts serve as a reference for the entire forum and a starting point for the discussion that is crucial to the GNR process.

Each nomination should be made on the GNR Forum.

Nomination: Establishment Name – two to five word summary

Thread Body:
A description of your personal experiences at the establishment and what makes it a GNR.
