Hi- I love King Arthur's white whole wheat and whole wheat flour. Jewel quit carrying both of them last year, although the Kosher Jewel on Howard still carries both kinds of flour for $6.99 which is more than I am willing to pay. Walmart does not carry either one of them any more, and the last time I was at Target they had the white whole wheat but not the whole wheat flour.

I was in Whole Foods in downtown Evanston yesterday to see if by some chance they had them on sale. I am out of the whole wheat flour, and when I looked at the flour section, I did not see King Arthur whole wheat flour, but saw the white whole wheat on clearance for $3.99. Somebody stocking shelves there asked me if I needed any help. I told him I was looking for the King Arthur ww flour. He said that they were discontinuing a lot of the King Arthur flour and putting them on clearance. Apparently the whole wheat flour sold out, and they are not restocking it. I ended up getting a bag of the white whole wheat flour, and a small amount of organic whole wheat flour in bulk for $1.69 a pound. They still had two pound bags of organic King Arthur whole wheat flour for $6.99, which I passed on. I did not even see any Arrowhead Mills WW flour. All I saw was their store brand in five pound bags.

Where does any one else get their King Arthur flour? Does Mariano's still have the whole wheat flour? I am going to Michigan this weekend for a family reunion, and if I have the time, I might stop in at Meijer's in Benton Harbor. They always have it, and it is always under $4 a bag

BTW- For those people who have a Prime membership, I noticed that WF had their rotisserie chicken on sale for $5.99. I think their rotisserie chicken is way better than Jewel's. Thanks, Nancy

King Arthur has a product finder on their website. Just make sure you have the whole wheat flour selected.

Thanks for the link to the product finder. It looks like Target carries the white whole wheat, but not the whole wheat, and Walmart carries the whole wheat and not the white whole wheat. The last time I was in the Skokie Walmart store, they did not have either one. It sounds like I should start buying it at Mariano's or hit Meijer's when I go home to Michigan. A few of the Jewel stores still carry it, but neither one that I visit on a regular basis. I don't know if this is because people don't cook. I was told a few years ago that the white whole wheat was a good seller at WF, and so I was surprised when they told me yesterday they were discontinuing it. I have only been in Heinen's once. It was okay, but it is expensive, and it is not convenient for me. Valli used to carry it too, but I did not see it on their list of stores.

I went home to a family reunion in Michigan last weekend, and on the way back to Chicago on Sunday, I made a really quick trip to the Benton Harbor Meijer's. I got a bag of King Arthur WW flour for $3.49, and that was their regular price.
