FYI, Herbally Yours has begun selling wood chips and grapevine cuttings at the Green City Market. One of my favorite steak preparations involves an excellent piece of steak (I typically use strip) and a small marrow bone. Soak the marrow bone overnight until the marrow separates easily from the bone. Prepare a grill and when its very hot throw on a bunch of grapevine cuttings. When the flame recedes, put the steak on and grill to your preference. Remove and put a piece of the marrow on top until melted, sprinkle with parsley and some fleur de sel. Great meal when paired with a salad of arugula dressed with lemon juice and olive oil and fried potatoes. A glass of nice red and a beautiful summer evening makes for a heavenly meal.
