Hi- I am reviving this thread. I went home to Michigan for Christmas, and one of my sisters bought a half gallon of Dean's eggnog which was okay. When that was gone I tried to find some low fat eggnog. I especially love C.F. Berger and Horizon low fat eggnog. When I was at Apple Valley the 7th day Adventist grocery store in Berrien Springs, they had Horizon on clearance, but it was going to expire the next day. I should have bought it anyway. When I went to Meijer's all they had left was Dean's full fat eggnog.

Does anybody know where I can get Horizon or CF Berger's low fat eggnog in the Evanston area. One of the Jewel's had Horizon about three weeks ago, but I have not seen it since then, and Whole Foods only has Organic Valley, and maybe Oberweis. I would be willing to go to Valli or Target or another Jewel store or maybe Mariano's. I have genetic cholesterol problems, and I am going for a physical on the 2nd, and so I know Oberweiss is wonderful, but I don't need it. I sinned enough over Christmas. I fixed a batch of Cook's Illustrated best chocolate chip cookies that were really good on Christmas Eve, and had a few slices of pumpkin pie, and lots of cheese. Thanks, Nancy

I love the oberweis nog, but just got clued in to the fact that Maplewood Brewery/Distillery does a very limited can run of eggnog every year that is apparently awesome. Anyone been lucky enough to try it?
