I know that posting complete recipes violates copyright, but I want to know if you all have any favs from this restaurant's cookbooks.

I've only made a few things, but absolutely love the carrot soup from the original 1977 ed. Simple ingredients: carrots, stock or water, onion, almonds, garlic, thyme, basil, marjoram, honey, yogurt. It is so creamy, smooth, and delicious. They made some changes to the recipe in a newer edition. I much prefer the original. The original is great it offers three spice variations for different tastes.

Titles of recipes are fine, I can look them up at a library.
Reading is a right. Censorship is not.

The ones with the most spots and stains on the pages of my copies are as follows:

From New Recipes from Moosewood Restaurant (1987), my least used Moosewood cookbook:
Creole Fish Stew, p. 168--my only regret is that I only first tried it last winter!
Squash Rolls, p. 231--remind me of Chillingsworth's on Cape Cod, but that's a story for another post.
From Moosewood Cookbook (Rev. Ed. 1992)
      Rarebit, p. 93
From Moosewood Restaurant Cooks at Home (1994), my favorite Moosewood cookbook:
Tomato Garlic Soup with Tortellini, p. 42--I make it a few times each winter.
Caesar Salad Dressing, p. 94--good if you want to avoid raw eggs; and Caesar Salad, p. 122
      Pan Bagnat, p. 266
Six-Minute Chocolate Cake, p. 322--THE BEST!! It's so quick, and you mix it up in the baking pan. I have guests ask for this recipe frequently enough that I've have it typed in a Word file. If you try any of these, make it this one.
    Enjoy!
