Anyone checked out Dubby's? It is a great (though small) bulk and speciatly shop. They have strawberry licorice you wouldn't believe (imported from Australia??). Worth checking out! Also some amazing oils (pumpkin seed, etc. - yum!)

Dubby's is fantastic, and for some strange reason the Aussies are the world champions of licorice. I remember a trip to Trader Joe's when they had a display of black and red licorice bites in plastic tubs, with one open for tasting. Not being a fan of licorice, I walked by the display a couple times without tasting, but I always noticed the awed crowd around it. So, I had a taste and was hooked. There's just something about that Aussie licorice. I bought about 8 small tubs and brought it into my office and hooked dozens of other people.

I found my fix online at:
    http://www.simplyoz.com/products/aussie ... y/licorice

(The one that I'm hooked on is the "Lucky Country" soft licorice at the bottom).

Time for me to make a trip to Dubby's and check out the latest.

    Best,
    EC

I buy that brand of licorice all the time at Bed Bath & Beyond. Check it out.

Also, I saw that brand's black licorice at Costco, but not the red. :-(
