Even the smaller shrimp are quite good -- had some on Saturday along with another batch of the fried goat cheese (before you start praying for my arteries, they were shared, and supplied with a complimentary tomato salad). Most flavorful shrimp I've had since a trip to Belize, believe it or not. Hard to fathom that those were commercially breaded.
Their menu is extensive, including fried gator nuggets (which I asked, and are
not from his own gators, unlike the goat cheese
)
In downtown Zion on Sheridan, Whey Chai is a pretty good 'ordinary' chinese place, and a great value. I haven't eaten at too many other places, subsisting on a quickie fast food bite when I go hiking along the beach. There's another place on the east side of the road just north of Captain Porky's that advertises frozen custard and tacos... just that combo should have been enough to keep me away... now I'm sadder but wiser.
