Guanajuato and San Luis Potosi

We will be spending 2 weeks in Mexico in March, in Guanajuato and in San Luis Potosi. Does anybody have any recommendations for restaurants, especially for Guanajuato? We will be staying with Mexican friends in San Luis Potosi, so we will have local guides who are very knowledgeable about food there, but it has been a long time since we have been in Guanajuato.

Here's something, not on restaurants, but on local dishes you might want to look for. These are links to the Mexico Desconocido web site's section on gastronomia of particular states: antojitos, comidas, dulces y postres, all of Guanajuato. Of course the dessert section includes the famous cajeta of Celaya.

I imagine the Irapuato strawberries will be in season when you are there. I hope you will post a detailed report when you get back!
