Wisconsin Northwoods (far north) Pizza

Monical's serves a really good thin crust, stands out compared to others in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, IMO. Monical's Pizza 360 US Highway 51 N, Woodruff, 715.358.9959

Alexander's Pizza with locations in Minocqua and Eagle River. A long time pizzeria in the area. Good thin crust, but not as good as Monical's.

Spang's Italian Restaurant - original has been in St. Germain for years, now location in Minocqua as well on Hwy 70 West. Again, good thin crust, but not as good as Monical's. Deep dish is offered here, but steer clear of it.

Monical's is by far the best in the area. Beer is good and a pleasant spot to look out the large picture window and see the lake. Great thin crust--so good that we miss it here in the Chicago area!
