Yes, there was a tavern called the Chicken Shack on Chicken Shack Road. That was prior to the 4 lanes highway. It had one of the classic neon signs out near the 2 lane road. It had 3 neon chickens on a 45 degree angle and they lit up one at a time bottom to top. Absolute classic sign. Good chicken at this tavern also. Great stop.
