    LTHChanukahKwanzaaRamadanChristmasWinterSolsticeFestivus

Okay, we’re going to be a little late for Ramadan and a little early for Winter Solstice, but in the sprit of inclusiveness, everyone – regardless of race, color, creed, food snobberies, sexual proclivities, political affiliations, whatever – is invited to the LTH second annual holiday party.

Details will be posted in the next few weeks…until then, SAVE THE DATE: December 9th at 7:00 PM.

Shapes of holiday dinner to come:

    Excellent wild-ass guess!

We're still finalizing the menu, and Ran and Ed will be making some off-menu items for us. Once we have all that locked down, we'll post a more detailed invite.

I'm there and will probably have Claire and Andrew along too.

I HATE all of you

I have to leave for some stupid cruise that day. Sheeeeeaahhhhht :!:

Anywho...my gang of law school boyz went to Ed's a couple three Friday's ago. Ran suggested we try the lamb with bone-in. Not exactly a marketing name to work with....but near the end of the meal, the other three guys sheepishly (I couldn't resist) asked if we could order another dish of it....and these are not serious LTH-esq eaters. Mmmmmmm :!:

A Picnic? A picnic is just NOT the same as a Kwanzathingymagiggy at Ed's Potsticker House...now is it?

    Oh Boy!

I have not been to Ed's yet and I think I might save it for the event (I still have 200+ other recommended restaurants to try). :)

    Put me down for two.

Really glad to see the instant enthusiasm for this event. FYI, there will be a more formal sign-up process once we've nailed down the specifics. Please stay tuned.

I've got it on my calendar. Looking forward to seeing everyone -- and finally getting to try the food at this restaurant, after having read about it in so many posts!

Just curious, is there a maximum number overall?

Also, the other thread announcing this said that there might be A cake from House of Fine Chocolate. I've been curious about that place (because I'm addicted to cake and chocolate) and wondered whether it would work out so that each person could have, say, one slice of cake, or whether 75 people would be fighting over one cake that yielded 10 slices.

Also, if I asked this question in the wrong thread, please let me know.

We're currently capping attendance at 60 -- last year I think we had 55.

No one will have to fight for cake -- if anything, you'll probably have to fight to get yet another slice down. We do not tend to under-order -- but the exact kind of cake we get is still under discussion... just be assured, if we get cake, there will be a lot of it.

We should keep comments in the new thread, so I'm going to lock this one so the discussion stays focused.

Hope to see you at Ed's,

    Hammond
