Go to Opentable.com and look at who has times and tables that work for you. That's the easiest way to find something when you know when but not where.

I've just started taking a look at Opentable.com and was wondering what/how your experience with the service and the rewards measures up. Looks too good to be true. Have you ever had trouble redeeming any of the Opentable Rewards Cheques?

    I've never redeemed points, but...

Even if you never get to the point where you're redeeming the points, opentable is enormously useful and convenient.

We've been using it for quite a while and I think we have around 3500 points. I'm saving up for a $100 certificate, an amount that'll really make a dent in a nice meal.

One of the nice things is that it's not limited to Chicago. You can use the same account when you're traveling to make reservations in other cities that they service.

    Best,
    Michael

We like it, no troubles, have redeemed points without an issue. The nice thing is that you get the confirmation right then, even if there's nobody at the restaurant if you would have called.

I love using Opentable. I use it for both personal and work reservations. I make reservations for several people in my office and frequently will suggest an Opentable restaurant over others. I have redeemed points for certificates very easily and have never had a problem using the certificates. All in all, a useful, beneficial service.

Count me as another huge fan. I haven't redeemed yet (I'm also saving up for the 100 pointer).

The only drawback I see is that restaurants only make a certain number of tables available on opentable. So, if opentable says a restaurant has no availability that may not actually be true. Also, I believe the restaurant has to give a certain % of revenues from reservations made through the system. So, if I know or think a restaurant may be struggling a bit, I'll just pick up the phone to make a reservation.

I redeemed 5000 points about 4 or 5 months ago and it was nice having it. And i had no problem whatsoever cashing it in.

It took me probably 4 years to rack that up.

I like Open Table but I have had a few weird instances where my reservation was incorrect or they had two of them but only a few. I do like being able to scan what's available at a mouse click.
