Interest in a LTHForum how-to class & dinner?

Post #1 - June 29th, 2006, 10:53 amThis is a re-post from Site Chat, since Events gets greater visibility. Also, I'm including a poll so people can respond anonymously and vote on potential location.

As LTHForum has grown we've fielded a fair amount of questions asking how to do some of the basic stuff on this board that many posters take for granted, such as:
Creating links
Displaying photos
Searching effectively
Is there any interest in a "How To" lecture? The moderators have been batting around the idea of having a 1-hour session covering these topics and maybe a couple others. Afterwards, we'd adjourn to a dinner.
If there's fair interest (I'd say a dozen people or more) we'll try and make it happen.
