Join us on July 14, 2019, for our fifth annual Taste of Evanston, brought to you by the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club. The event will be held between 4-7 PM on the east lawn of the magnificent Charles Gates Dawes House, home of the Evanston History Center, for delicious appetizers, entrees, and desserts. While you enjoy food and drink from 40 of Evanston's trendiest restaurants, local breweries and wine shops you'll also be raising funds to help end homelessness!
The majority of this year's proceeds will support Connections for the Homeless, a nonprofit organization that helps individuals and families who are homeless or threatened with homelessness to achieve stable housing AND Reba Place Development Corporation - developing safe, decent, and affordable housing that demonstrates how the diverse racial and cultural groups in Evanston can thrive together. Reba Place also sponsors and supports a range of affordable housing options-including modestly priced rental units, housing coops, and affordable condominiums. Funds raised at the event will also support ongoing philanthropic projects of the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club.
Don’t wait to get your tickets!! Tickets are limited to the first 500 guests and it will likely sell out as in years past. This event will take place rain or shine. Sorry, no refunds.
