    Hi,

I remember when the news memorialized events which already occured. Now the news helps round up people in advance of the event. I guess to make it a news event when it might not be otherwise.

Reported on the news today of a plans to protest restaurants still serving fatted goose liver aka foie gras. Animal rights activists will be at X/O Restaurant at 7:30 PM on News Year's Eve.

While XO was highlighted. It wouldn't surprise me if they have plans to protest elsewhere.

There was a story on the news yesterday about a large number of high end restaurants that were planning on serving foie gras on New Years Eve, Aldermen be dammed. This story was probably a feeble attempt to counter the first story. Media Wars...you gotta love it.
