When did this happen? Back when my office was nearby it was strictly carry-out but that was right after it turned over from being Opart's. After that, seating or not, it didn't matter. The place was awful . . . and that's saying a lot because Opart's wasn't very good to begin with.

I can't say when exactly it changed, best guess is maybe 2015. I believe it is when they moved kitty-corner across the street to the plaza at the SE corner of the intersection.
Their Yelp! 'from the owner' just says they were established in 2012, and that they started as carry-out only but have since become full service w/ liquor license. Doesn't say when.

I can't speak for pre-2017, but it's been more reliable than the others mentioned. Just know they're not Aroy/Tac, and request all the items full heat to let the flavor come out.

Ok, got it. Thanks, for the intel. I had no idea that they even moved. It's been a long time since I've been by there and as the location is described above, it didn't even occur to me that they were now on the other side of the street.

Fwiw, their former location, a tiny carry-out-only storefront on the west side of Skokie Blvd (north of Old Glenview), briefly became Thali Bites Unfortunately, they did not last long at all.

Based on an appealing website menu, I'd be willing to give it a try...

Backstory looks interesting, but....

Looks like backstory is almost all sandwiches for lunch, which *MAY* divide 4 ways, or maybe only 2 ways, so sharing might be difficult? OK, salads too, also probably not divisible beyond 4. Or is the dinner menu available at lunch time also?

They are still on Skokie Blvd, just the SE corner of the intersection, having moved from the NW.

It's easy to think that it should be Skokie, not Wilmette, since the first block N of Old Orchard is still Skokie, and there's no intersection on Skokie Blvd to mark the border. But the NT-Niles township border cuts right through the middle of Westmoreland CC on a line parallel to Central St in Evanston and Central Rd in Glenview. The Room & Board is the end of Skokie, the Chase Bank is the start of Wilmette.

We had dinner there tonight (review posted here) and it was very good indeed. Between the great food and the ample seating, I think it's a good candidate for a future ELG™ lunch!
