The dinner at Cebu will be at 6pm. Last time we were a smallish group and just ordered from the menu which worked fine. If it is going to be a larger group I will see about arranging a special meal.

    Should be fun.

To whet your theatrical appetite, here's a nice review from the Daily Herald of the production:

    http://www.dailyherald.com/timeout/stor ... on=theater

The Daily Herald wrote:Familiar and accessible, [...New World Rep's production of the Glass Menagerie...] falls somewhere between The Hypocrites' visceral, punch-to-the-solar-plexus production from 2005 and Court Theatre's cerebral minimalist offering from earlier this year.

That's not a bad place to be.

NWRT's version of Tennessee Williams' memory play about faded southern belle and family matriarch Amanda, her restless son, Tom, painfully shy daughter, Laura, and Jim, the man who changes their lives, has some bite. Credit director Alison Henderson's restrained sentiment and sharp, unsentimental performances by Kerensa Peterson and Steven Camara for that.

Unfortunately, due to a family obligation we will not be able to attend. Hope everyone has a great time.

Sadly, we will continue on without Flip and his betrothed.

Dinner is confirmed at Cebu for 6pm, and we are looking forward to the play.

    HI,

I am bringing Cathy1 with me.

If anyone wants to join at the last minute, I have been assured obtaining theater tickets will not present a problem.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

I'll be bringing another friend and at least one of the other actors is planning to join us for dinner after.
