The flyer I got for this event says that it's the last one. It tells people not to bring any books to donate. So this may be the last time you get to browse this incredible sale.

One can find food literature as well as cookbooks -- plus books on just about every other topic on the planet -- travel, car repair, religion, science, literature, collecting, history, children's books, and more. It's an amazing event.

We went to Brandeis today, and were very disappointed. Although it was only the second day, the place had the look of the just-before-discount-weekend: some tables were partly empty, no boxes of books on the floor, really poor pickin's.

I found a couple of SF books worth reading, a copy of The Adventures of Kavalier and Klay (pulitzer prize winners don't tend to show up in used bookstores), and a couple of cookbooks just barely worth picking up. Usually MrsF finds a couple jigsaw puzzles -- nothing. We got out of there spending just over $30, usually more like $90.

If you want to find anything, go quickly.

On the positive note, some folks were handing out cards that the book sale will continue, run by Little City.
