So, did anyone actually go to lunch? Where? Are we doing it again? May I suggest Perry's, on Franklin between Randolph and Lake? It's one of my favorite places, and it's easy to get to for all, being so close to the El, and all, or by cab (or by foot for me).

I liked Hannah's Bretzel when my customary dining companion and I visited, but the sad fact there are only four chairs - not tables, chairs - pretty much rules it out for any manner of group, and it's too far from that overpriced park to even think about picnicking.

I'd love to try the original Heaven on Seven again - haven't been there in quite a while. Seating could be problematic, though - do they maybe take reservations for a group of, say, 6-8 or more? (and remember, it's cash only at that location.)

Does anyone want to try this again? With all the talk about J&C's makes me think we should try for another attempt.

Perhaps J&Cs on the 13th, supposed to be a heatwave of a whopping 35 degrees

Having just accepted employment downtown, I'm looking forward to partaking in some of these loop lunches! I won't be able to participate until sometime February though...but do keep us posted on the lunch happenings! :)

I would love to meet a group of LTHers at J&C's on the 13th. I feel compelled to go back for yet another beef sandwich and the fabulous potatoes, although that chicken and eggplant sandwich I saw in Mike G.'s recent post looked pretty spectacular. . .

Anyone else want to join us??

O.k., I posted it as its own special event rather than continue this thread. Please respond to the Bombagcino event.
