Will be lunching there, Friday the 16th at 1pm. (The time can be adjusted if someone prefers an earlier or later meal). The more people that can join us, the more dishes we can sample, so come one, come all.
If you can, let me know if you plan to make it, so I know how many to expect, in general terms at least. But if you can only decide at the last minute, feel free to come along.

Okay, I did not look at the calendar first. How about Thursday or one day next week? Next Wednesday or Thursday would work for me. If none of those work, I guess I will reluctantly stick with this Friday, sorry Gary.d

Select the day that works best for you. If it is this Friday, I'm sure that I will get to Cicero at some point. The Sabatino's lunch will be a relatively small gathering. If you select the next week and I'm available, I'll get there. My comment was posted mostly for my amusement in that it echoed nr706's. The organizer just need to set the best time, and see who else can attend.

Did you change it from Friday because someone else had scheduled a lunch that day? If so, I don't think you should have done it for that reason. It's a big world of food out there and having more than one LTH event in a single day is something that should be encouraged, not shied away from.Steve Z.

Last time there was a funny old black&white movie being shown, Los Tres Garcia, and I was given some free popcorn after dinner and invited to stay and see the whole movie. Turns out the petite, elderly, domineering, cigar-smoking grandmother in the movie is famous for her "grandmother" character acting, and La Abuelita's smiling, benevolent face appears on the label of containers of (I seem to recall) hot chocolate mix...but without the stogie
Anyway, this'll also be an opportunity to pass along some tickets for Chuck's Mardi Gras Bash to dicksond and GreenFish. (Note: as of 2/14/2007, there are still two openings available--hint, hint!)
