Hi- I just saw on the news that Weight Watchers is losing money big time right now, and Oprah has lost $58 million dollars that she has invested in Weight Watchers. I am sure that the low carb craze has not helped them, but apparently the online diet program Noom has also hurt Weight Watchers bottom line. I looked at the Noom website, and apparently they come up with a diet and exercise program that is customized to you. I filled out their diet questionnaire, and I found out that the first 14 days of their program is free, but after that it is $49.95 a month. I did not fill out all the information they requested because I also had to agree to sign up for the 14 day free trial period in order to learn more about their program. Thanks, Nancy

I also posted this over on the Facebook page of mashupmom, and I got a lot of responses, including a few from people who had tried Noom, Somebody reported that she did the two week free trial, and she decided that she did not want to pay $49.95 a month to continue it, and they then offered her a $30 a month deal, and somebody else reported that she was eventually offered 80% off. The people that tried it liked it, but it was a lot of work, and they could not see themselves in the program long term. Apparently there is an app that you can download that will keep track of how much you eat and how many calories you consume. It sounds like it is being billed as a lifestyle change. Hope this helps, Nancy
