Ex-con who developed a low sodium ramen noodle soup

Hi- This is an article about somebody who used to operate a hot dog stand in LA, and when the police found a package of coke in his trash, they asked him who put it there. He knew if he gave him the name of the person, he would be dead, and so he ended up going to prison himself. After getting out he developed a low sodium ramen noodle soup mix, and was asked if he could market it to the commissaries in prisons. Apparently packages of ramen noodle soup are hot items in most prisons.

In a lot of state prisons the food is awful. The state of Alabama budgets 50 cents per meal, and so people supplement their diet with ramen noodles. Here is a link to the article.
