Phil Vittles at the Chicago Tribune reports that Grant Achatz will be leaving Alinea Group effective July 3. Achatz is reportedly moving to a career in television after signing a deal with CBS All Access to produce and star in a variety of food related programs. Details are not known at this time but industry sources report that the first series will about innovative cooks using CBD in haute cuisine. The title of the show will be Pot Chef.

Is that the best he could come up with? He should leave the comedy to the pros.

If you read the opening post very carefully you will be able to discern its veracity.

I doubt the "Pot Chef" would be using CBD as referenced in the OP - more likely THC, which would be perfectly legal if filmed on the left coast.

Why would you think television producers would give a damn about things like that. In any case, CBD is the hot thing right now.

The OP used the term "Pot Chef" and CBD isn't pot and won't get you high. Pot is the real stuff.

If you can think of a title that references a real food show as well as Pot Chef works with Top Chef I'll be happy to change it.

Doh - I just realized that you ARE the OP!!

I think the title is great - it's just the reference to CBD that doesn't ring true to me, since it isn't pot.

I used CBD after careful consideration because it has been in the news a lot lately. As my father always said, don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.

BTW Don't bother questioning my use of the word "good"
