Searching for Twin Cities Food Enthusiasts

My name is Harry Kent and I am an intern with the Twin Cities Media Alliance, the organization responsible for the citizens' journalism website, the Twin Cities Daily Planet. http://www.tcdailyplanet.net/buylocal (This is the business directory page, feel free to check out the home page for the journalism side). The website allows citizens to take on story ideas and do their own reporting, offering the community the chance to voice their opinion. The Daily Planet is also home to a large business and attractions directory.

We are looking to update our business directory and part of that involves engaging more members of the community in the process. The Daily Planet does a great job seeking community voices for news articles and we are hoping to do the same with input about businesses (primarily restaurants) in the Twin Cities. In particular, we are looking for input on how to make the website more engaging for users and we are even recruiting users to update the business directory themselves (any user on the website can update business listings).
