A few weeks ago I went to Bloomingdales to see the Hot Doug cooking demo.
At the bottom of their kitchen schedule they were asking restaurants (and caterers) to schedule themselves. You may want to suggest your establishment for a food demonstration to Paddy Meehan, Culinary Specialist at 312/324-7678. If and when you have a website, then you can list your guest appearances. You may consult Bloomingdale's website.
Botanic Gardens has the Great Chef Series from late May until early October. Call up and suggest yourself!
IF anyone else has ideas on DIY publicity, then please advise.
