Post #1 - December 29th, 2004, 2:27 pmHello. I am a Chicago-based food marketing consultant, and a client of mine (an artisan bread company) is looking for local foodie events for sampling/demos/sponsorships. Does anyone have any info on large-scale food events taking place in 2005?
For example, is there anything that resembles the former Best of the Midwest Market at Ravinia? Also, I know Naperville hosts a Wine Festival in the Fall -- has anyone attended? Does anyone know of other such events? Is Sam's hosting a Food and Wine festival at Finkels again this year?

How about Italian Festivals that highlight food prominently?

I wouldn't call it "gourmet" by any stretch, but there were real, live flying angels.
