I'd like to add Gyros to our menu, can anyone recommend a good supplier? About the Gyro cooking equipment, is it expensive or does the Gyro meat supplier carry them, rent them, etc.?

    Thanks

How about Kronos, like nearly everyone else?

Indeed friend, I hope this is of a little bit more assistance. Here is a link to their website, their office is located in Chicago, Illinois:

I bought my cooking equipment separately. It wasn't that cheap but I heard from a friend they had some good deals on ebay. Don't know anything about suppliers leasing or renting.

If I can be of anymore assistance feel free to ask

I believe there are 5 gyro manufacturers in the Chicagoland: Kronos, Grecian Delight, Olympic, Devanco, fifth one escapes me.

I would go with Grecian Delight. They offer a good product. Many years ago when I was in the Food Technology/New Product Developement Businees, I worked with them on a few projects. Was impressed by their manufacturing plant.

As far as them giving you a gyro cooker, all of them have stopped that practice many years ago but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Yes the do! And a lot cheaper than the stores are trying to sell them for... A LOT CHEAPER!!!

Kronos will sell you a Junior Broiler for $350 and will lease you a regular Broiler for $400 a year I believe.

Follow this link and click on pdf. order form for the Broiler you want and they will list the cost:

Hope this helps good buddy !!
