    Lillie’s Q chef/owner Charlie McKenna will throw a charity fundraiser party featuring seven of his Chicago chef friends for the Lillie’s Q Inferno Imperial IPA release where 100% of the ticket sale proceeds will go directly to The Katherine McKenna Brothers Scholarship Fund form 7pm to 10pm on Tuesday, August 21 at Lillie’s Q.

    All patrons will receive two 8 oz pours of the Lillie’s Q Inferno Imperial IPA and one Lillie’s Q Bourbon Cocktail – both of which will debut in Chicago at the fundraiser party. Chef McKenna, along with the other chefs listed below, will provide signature passed appetizers at Lillie's Q Inferno Imperial IPA Release Fundraiser Party.

    * Matthias Merges – Yusho
    * Chris Pandel –The Bristol and Balena
    * Mike Sheerin – Trenchermen
    * Pat Sheerin – Trenchermen
    * Greg Biggers – Café des Architectes
    * Chris Curren – Stout Barrel House & Galley

    There are only 100 tickets available for the Lillie's Q Inferno Imperial IPA Release Fundraiser Party for $100 each. Tickets must be purchased online at lilliesqfundraiser.eventbrite.com. Ticket sales end at noon on Monday, August 20. All proceeds from the ticket sales for the Lillie's Q Inferno Imperial IPA Release Fundraiser Party will go directly to The Katherine McKenna Brothers Scholarship Fund.

    Chef McKenna’s aunt, Katherine McKenna Brothers, died in 2000 after a seven-year battle with breast cancer. Charlie’s father, Quito (who was Katherine’s brother), and his uncle, Chris Brothers (who was Katherine’s husband), set up The Katherine McKenna Brothers Scholarship Fund several years ago. The fund provides scholarship money for female students at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia, where Katherine received her undergrad degree.

    The Lillie’s Q Inferno Imperial IPA – which chef McKenna brewed with Goose Island’s head brewmaster Jared Rouben – is a double India pale ale brewed with a trio of hops (Galaxy, Cascade, and Citra) and it is infused with inferno chili peppers. The Lillie’s Q Inferno Imperial IPA was brewed specifically to pair perfectly with the award-winning BBQ at Lillie’s Q.

    The Lillie’s Q Bourbon Cocktail is comprised of the exclusive Lillie’s Q Henry McKenna 10-Year-Aged Single Barrel Bourbon, Briottet Creme de Banane liqueur, Briottet Creme de Noisette liqueur, and Imbue Bittersweet vermouth.

    All attendees at the Lillie's Q Inferno Imperial IPA Release Fundraiser Party will receive a pink silicone gel bracelet that features the Lillie’s Q name, Katherine’s initials (KMB), and a pig. Anyone wearing the bracelet during future visits to Lillie’s Q and will receive 10 % off all their future tabs at Lillie’s Q for the lifetime of the restaurant. The only stipulation is that patrons must be wearing the bracelet to get the discount.

    Chef McKenna sold these bracelets for $10 each throughout the month of June at Lillie’s Q and raised over $4,000 for The Katherine McKenna Brothers Scholarship Fund. If all 100 tickets are sold for the Lillie's Q Inferno Imperial IPA Release Fundraiser Party, the event will raise $10,000 for The Katherine McKenna Brothers Scholarship Fund.

    There will also be a cash bar available during the Lillie's Q Inferno Imperial IPA Release Fundraiser Party.
