Actually it's Grotto On State - the restaurant where I work (back office). We are currently celebrating our 2 year anniversary, and the Owner/Management is thanking our regular customers with $20 Gift Certificates (off a minimum $50 purchase from our main dining menu).

I would love to set up an LTH Dinner here at the Grotto, so everyone could try certain dishes that have been mentioned in different posts over the months, like Chiken Vesuvio, Osso Bucco, any of our Pastas with Vodka Sauce (or any other sauce for that matter!), Hand Select Steaks, and soo many other items. I personally love the food here - i've worked at a lot of different restaurants around Chicago, and I can definately "taste the love" in the food prepared here. However, currently I am so busy that to set up a dinner would be too much for me to do at this time (i will definately do something in the future though!).

But what I can do right now is offer a gift certificate to anyone on LTH who might be interested in coming to dinner here on their own. The GC's expire on April 6th (tho mgmt might make more available), so if anyone is interested, PM me and I can arrange for a Certificate to be waiting for you when you come in to dine. There are some restrictions on the certificate - only one per table, minimum $50 purchase, not valid with any other offer (like our entertainment coupon, or our 1/2 price bottle of wine offer), and dine-in only.

our website is www.grottoonstate.com if you want to check out the menu.

    Ciao!

leesh, what a kind offer! I've got to speak with The Wife about it, but I'd like to try to stop by during the next few weeks. I'll PM when we can settle on a date.

    Thanks,
