Client wanted to go to the WE Restaurant in the W hotel for lunch, so off I went with an associate and two clients.
Arrived at 12:40pm, there was a wait, kind of surprised me as I did not expect a wait in a hotel restaurant.
Menu is mostly Italian. Knew I was in for an "ehh" meal when nothing at all leapt out at me while reading the menu.
Breaded calamari appetizer was soggy, this was the one thing I was really looking forward to as it was tossed with garlic and chilies.
The two males at the table had the portebello sandwiches. The mushrooms were virtually non-existent as were the sun dried tomatoes, on way too thick foccacia.
Ladies had the chicken breast ceasar salads.
The fact that no one mentioned the food while dining pretty much summed it up.
Not good and a $90 charge to my expense report.
