Former Garcia's on Lawrence and Hermitage

The Garcia's on Lawrence and Hermitage (companion restaurant to the one in Lincoln Sqare) was shuttered a few months ago. Earlier this week a guy was painting over part of the hanging sign, removing everything but the name "Garcia's" and the telephone number. Yesterday I noticed a paper "Grand Opening" sign accompanied by a neon "Open." The door was locked, there was no menu posted on the door and the place seemed slightly remodelled--new tables, the grill area removed, and a new coat of paint. Does anyone know the story?
